So, I entered this giveaway and lo and behold, I did not win (I know, shocking!) . But, as it turns out Linda contacted me because she saw my blog about quilting. While she does not quilt she said that many of her larger projects had several "scraps" left over :) She wanted to know if I would take them and put them to good use. So, I said "sure." (thinking I would get a package of little bits etc.) Check this out:
These are not scraps to a quilter! These are yards of fabric! I was shocked! And, she was gracious enough to pay for shipping too! She was just so happy to give them a good home! She wrote in her thank you note that she was trying to get up to 100 followers, so, give her some love here and become a follower:

She had 99 followers as I write this! Tell her I sent you!
Anyway, I just wanted to share my good fortune and help Linda out!
Until next time!
Mike.
Many of my followers and quilting friends have told me that I need to change the name of my blog because I am not an amateur, but at heart, I always will be. I call myself an amateur to remind me that every stitch, every fabric shape and every seam is more perfect when it looks like it was made by a human being (especially if it’s me, and I am not perfect). This way I spend more time admiring my finished masterpieces and less time ripping out stitches. This is just a little bit of my journey...

Mike, this was so sweet of you. Sending you the fabric was half the fun...seeing what you do with it will be the other half. Thanks for the shout out.
I'm on my way to see Linda! (What a gracious gift she sent you!)
Thanks for signing up for the Marble-T Design newsletter. I'll be following your blog. What a haul of "scraps!"
